REL at the AAR
REL has quite a lot going on at the national and regional conferences for the American Academy of Religion. We sat down with the faculty to learn a little more about how they understand, navigate, and approach academic conferences—and they also have a little advice for any conference newcomers!

In addition to our standard AAR interviews, we also were able to record the “Discussing the ‘Nones’” roundtable in which Prof. Steven Ramey was a panelist.
“Discussing the ‘Nones’” Roundtable
The “Discussing the ‘Nones’: What They Say about the Category of Religion and American Society” roundtable at the 2013 AAR comprised: Presider Chip Callahan (University of Missouri); Panelists Steven Ramey (University of Alabama), Sean McCloud (University of North Carolina, Charlotte), Monica Miller (Lehigh University); and Respondent Patricia O'Connell Killen (Gonzaga University). We’ve split the video of the panel into 6 parts: Introduction, each of the panelists, Response, and Discussion.
