Day Lecture
The Day Lecture is one of two annual lecture series hosted by the Dept. of Religious Studies. I’ve pulled the following excerpts from the REL website:
In the 2012-13 academic year, the family of Zachary Daniel Day established an annual lectureship in the Department of Religious Studies to honor his memory. … Given Zach’s own interest in the intersection of religion with music, art, videos, gaming, and literature, this annual lecture will be devoted to the study of religion and popular culture.
I was fortunate to be able to attend and record the inaugural Day Lecture with Dr. Monica Miller. If you want to learn more, you can find the rest of the lecture recordings on REL’s Vimeo Day Lecture showcase.
